Tea biscuits
Ingredients
- 3 cups flour
- 4 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 cup sugar
- pinch of salt
- 1 cup butter
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup raisins (optional)
Instructions
- Sift together flour, baking powder, sugar and salt
- Cut in butter with a knife, then rub until mealy
- Mix in milk and raisins
- Roll out buns and place in a parchment lined 9x13 pan. When full use a small fork to lightly press the buns down a little
- Bake at 350°F until golden - about 25 minutes
