Soft Dinner Rolls

Instructions

  1. Combine milk and butter. Microwave on high (15 sec increments) until very warm (110F).
  2. Add salt, sugar and yeast to milk and butter. Whisk together and let it sit for ~5 minutes.
  3. Pour liquids into stand mixer bowl, add flour in small portions till dough is not sticky. (~4 cups).
  4. Knead dough (dough hook = 2 mins; hand = 10-12 mins)
  5. Place dough in an oiled bowl, cover with a towel and let rise for ~1hr in a warm place.
  6. Line __ x __” pan with parchment paper
  7. Cut dough into 24 pieces. Roll each piece of dough into a ball pinching the seam to seal
  8. Place, seam sides down, on lined pan in 4 rows of 6.
  9. Cover with towel; let rise in warm place until doubled in size, about 30 minutes.
  10. Preheat oven 350F
  11. Bake for ~20 mins or until golden brown.
  12. Remove from pan with a spatula and place onto a wire rack.
  13. Immediately grease top of buns with butter or margarine
